What are your session fees?

Do you accept insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are in-network with multiple insurance companies including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and Evernorth, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, Humana, Oscar Health, and others. We also work with several EAP programs. Kaiser is accepted on an out-of-network basis. Please verify your specific plan coverage by calling (618) 342-7087.

How are sessions held?

All sessions are held virtually. We are licensed to provide telehealth therapy in Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Tennessee, Massachusetts, and California, making services accessible across multiple states while you remain in the comfort of your own space.

What can I expect in a first session with you?

The first session is about getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. Twana will ask about your current challenges, your goals for therapy, and your history. She'll also explain her approach and how she can address your needs - whether that's depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, or the everyday struggles that are making life difficult. This is your opportunity to see if her approach feels right for you.

For individuals, that often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based or somatic practices. For couples, we use the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy — two approaches specifically built around how partners communicate, repair, and reconnect. We honor your whole person — mind, body, and spirit — and we tailor every plan to your unique goals and story.

She also has extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, chronic pain, ADHD, grief, sexual abuse, career concerns, self-esteem issues, and those struggling with everyday living while managing multiple medical issues. She works with adults and elders (65+).
